Terms Of Service (TOS)

GENERAL

Please read and understand the text below, by agreeing to work with me, you accept these terms and conditions.

PAYMENTS

I accept half the entire payment before starting the commission as a down payment.

Upon the client being satisfied and receiving video previews of the model, I will then accept the other half of the payment. I also accept partial payments if that is needed, but I will not hand over the files until the final payment(s) are made.

REVISIONS/CHANGES/ADJUSTMENTS

I accept small adjustments during the model making phases.

Adjustments will be harder to make/limited once rigging has started.

I will NOT accept changes to the reference during the modeling phase. You can NOT change the design or reference once the commission has started, if you feel like you absolutely need to change the design and won't be happy with the model, I will require compensation for the work I've done so far, and I will likely cancel the project. This is due to the massive amount of work put into the model and the breach of trust when I am handed a design that has been confirmed to be complete.

DEADLINES AND DELIVERY

Creation time takes 1-3 months.

1 week after delivery, free revisions will expire. You have 1 week (5 days) to test the files you receive and ask for revisions, after that, revisions will result in an additional fee.

Revisions are limited to rigging, textures, and emotes that were originally agreed upon. Any extra emotes or dances added that weren't paid for nor asked for beforehand are not subject to the free revisions and will cost an additional fee to be edited in.

USE

May use in any way the client likes, as long as credit is given in either text or audio.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

I will own the rights to use the work for showcasing purposes. I will never claim rights to the style or character, but I have full rights to show off any and all details of the 3D model for showcasing my physical work.

REFUNDS

Refunds are not available after the first payment is made. The first payment acts as a down payment to ensure that I am paid for the work I have done in case of a cancellation.

COMMUNICATION

Communication must remain via Vgen and Email. This is to ensure that all messages are documented and can be erased, allowing me to keep a clear record of our communication for legal purposes and to refer back to when needed.

All progress will be posted on my Trello board and be used to update the client on each step of the process. Clients are required and encouraged to ask for more video and pictures of specific updates.

PAYMENT

It can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months to finish the model once I first start sculpting.

Payment: I accept half the entire payment first as a down payment, then the second half when the project is finished and before sending the files over to the client.

Payment Plans: I do accept payment plans, however, I will still not start the project until half of the payment is made through installments. I also will not hand over the project files until the final payment(s) are made.

Quote Estimate: The price listed in quotes is not final. It may go down or up depending on how the project goes. If I complete the project under the quoted time, you will not have to pay the full quoted price. However, if there are extra revisions added and it causes me to go over the estimated time, there may be an additional fee.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

My current rate right now is $18 USD an hour.

It can take anywhere from 1 to 3 months to finish the model once I first start sculpting.

Payment plans: I accept half the payment of the entire model first then the second half amongst finishing the model and before sending the files over to the client.

Modeler Background: I went to college and got a 3D Game Art and Animation in 2017. I have been 3D modeling for 6 years now. I made my first VRC model in 2020. I have also been doing 2D commissions from a very young age before I got into 3D modeling at around age 18.

Creation Process/Programs and Software: I sculpt my models from scratch using ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter, along with Blender and Unity for implementation into VRChat and VSeeFace.

Extra Outfits: It is $100-$300 per outfit depending on the outfit difficulty.

Small accessories: Additional accessories not included on the main model/outfit like hats, wings, ears, etc. depending on the difficulty can go for $5-$100.

What emotes do you provide if I don’t have any emote reference? I recommend drawing any emotes in 2D first as it will improve the quality of the 3D model. I include 8-16 emotes by default: Angry, Sad, Tears, Surprised, XD, Tongue out, Dizzy, Blush, Crying, Sparkles, Hearts, Smug, Danger, XD Wink, Shy.

Rule 63/Genderbending/Changing Gender: If you would want to change the gender or make a rule 63 version of your (already made) character, it would be the same as making a model from scratch.

It’s my first time getting a 3D model. What are some tips? My job is to create a 3D model based on the reference provided, and while I am happy to offer tips and accommodate first-time commissioners, my primary role is to deliver the final product as agreed upon. The best tip I can give is to make sure you are happy with your 2D reference. It is the most important part of the model and every little detail will need to be analyzed and made into 3D. So make sure your line art isn’t sloppy, all your colors are final, and any detail you’d like to see is drawn out so that I can do what I do best and bring all those little details to life.
